Information about our volunteer work parties
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
New work party dates will appear here from January 2022
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Our work parties are relaxed and informal with all welcome to come along and lend us a hand. The work suits all abilities, but you will need a steady footing as we will be working on and walking across challenging, uneven and boggy terrain.
We often have some 'first come-first serve' spaces in our vehicle to give volunteers a lift to our work sites from our Stirling office. Please get in touch to arrange this.
You can have a look at the Butterfly Conservation Scotland's Volunteer Handbook - see document below - which also contains information on Butterflies & Moths.
If you would like to come along to any of our volunteer work parties or events or if you have any questions then please contact Polly Phillpot at [email protected] or David Hill [email protected]

Tick Advice
Ticks are small biting arachnids that live in our countryside. Their usual hosts are deer and sheep, however they will feed on humans too and can pass on infectious diseases such as Lyme disease. They can be found all over our countryside particularly in areas where farm animals or deer are found (this includes bogs!). Good information and advice about Ticks can be found at the links below.
